Dress Code and Conduct

On the Course

Recognised golf clothing and golf shoes should be worn on the course and the practice ground at all times.  Shorts must be of the tailored variety with knee length socks of any colour or sport ankle socks that are mainly white.

In the Clubhouse

• Smart casual clothing is acceptable in the bar and lounge area.
• Waterproofs, wet, and dirty clothing are not acceptable, neither are golf shoes.
• Tailored shorts are permitted but not in the dining room after 6.00pm.
• After 6.00pm gentlemen should wear a jacket with collar and tie in the dining room.
• No golf clothing is allowed in the dining area after 6.00pm.
• No golf equipment or baggage is allowed in the bar, lounge or dining room.
• No hats are permitted in the clubhouse.

The following items are not acceptable on the golf course or in the Clubhouse

• Blue Denim jeans and jackets
• Tracksuits or Shell suits
• Anoraks
• T-shirts
• Trainer type shoes
• Rugby/Football shirts or shorts
• Clothing with prominent slogans or advertising.

Any member, guest or visitor not suitably dressed and not following this code will be asked to leave the course or the clubhouse.

Mobile Phones are not to be used in the Clubhouse or on the course except in an emergency.
